To make a breakthrough in the transportation process in an increasingly crowded world, Sky might be the solution.

US-based Alkai Technology, which specializes in air transport, is designing the world's first hypersonic fuel cell.

To this end, the company has formed a distinguished executive team with decades of experience in development and air production from specialized agencies such as NASA, Cyrus, Raytheon and others.

The company's president, Brian Morrison, says fuel cell vehicles are the future.

Sky has three fuel cells at the bottom of the floor that are responsible for removing hydrogen and air and delivering it to a pack of fuel cells that do not contain moving parts. This process produces electricity.

"The generated electricity works to move the six engines in the vehicle, and in this way take off without causing any environmental pollution," according to Morrison.

The vehicle, which takes off and lands vertically, can fly for four hours at a range of 400 miles through its six efficient engines and can accommodate up to five passengers, according to the manufacturer.

How much does it cost?

Morrison says Sky's fare will be "similar to what you pay for a wild trip" - not only that, but an individual can buy it if he wants.

Alkai Technology says it expects to receive the FAA certification for its new vehicle by the third quarter of 2020. It plans to sell it in the same period
